The Liaoxi Corridor—one of my country’s "three major geographical corridors"—serves as the vital link between the Northeast Plain and the North China Plain. Cities and regions in western Liaoning—including Chaoyang, Jinzhou, Huludao, and Fuxin—all lie within the core zone of this corridor. This land has borne witness to the birth of civilizations, the rise and fall of dynasties, the convergence of cultures, and the integration of ethnic groups; simultaneously, it is now experiencing the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China and Liaoning in this new era.

The micro-documentary series East and West of Western Liaoning unfolds like a treasure map of Liaoxi civilization, spanning across time and space.
